Brought back memories of people I knew and knew of, story of a resilient child, teenage and woman.

While reading this book I noticed several people I knew and knew of ( Robert and Rita) places ( Chatham,Ruggles, Chicago vocational)And addiction ( alcohol). The writing was vivid with the realism of a families struggles with addiction, adversity and forgiveness. I had to be forgiven and forgive myself as well. Therapy is a tool that will help if you apply yourself to the work that is given you. For example a good therapist will give you homework, insist that you write your feelings down etc
